The election of Miss Gay Lanzarote 2011 was held on Friday 1st July.

The event was organised by Willie Díaz, presented by Isabel Torres and held in front of the Casa del Miedo (House of Fear) at Charco San Ginés in Arrecife. Anahís Portillo beat 15 candidates to take the title of Miss Gay Lanzarote 2011, other titles won during the evening were Daniela Rodríguez, as Miss Gay Arrecife, Ella O’ranti for Miss Atlántico and Madeleine Davola as Miss Puerto del Arrecife.

The event was attended by various officials including Cándido Reguera the mayor of Arrecife and Ángela Hernández, the councillor  for tourism.
